artist Oleh Lavrii
My work is rooted in human experience — fragility, emotional traces, and states of calm that cannot be expressed directly.
I do not depict people in a literal or photographic way, yet the human presence is always embedded in the structure, rhythm, and tension of the form.
In the process of work, I think a lot about what is happening on the canvas. Also, the objects of concentration of attention are both the physiological processes of reflection at the beginning of work, and the inspiration that arises when tracking one's emotions from emerging images.
Abstraction is my language for conveying what cannot be fixed through images.
Material and process become a way of capturing an inner state rather than external reality.
I create a limited number of works each year, placing strong emphasis on quality, depth, and the meaning of each piece.
I would be delighted to establish new contacts with collectors, gallery owners, and art lovers.
